DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP): Display your direct campaigns to adblockers users
DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)
Note: before starting the configuration of your DFP banners, make sure your technical team added the data-iab-tag to your pages pages.
These banners replace blocked placements to help you regain lost revenue from your blocked campaigns.
Step 1. Create your simplified URL
Network ID -> your DFP account ID (example: 1234567891234 in green in the example below)
Ad unit code -> example: 123456789/Adback-166 in blue in the example below
Ad slot size -> the red part in the example below. Start typing the size directly in the field and select the correct size
Custom targeting -> the purpule part in the example below. Add Key= before (example: Key=hb_adid_rubicon)
Click on Generate tags. A tag appears. Copy the URL of the image tag. It should look like this:
Add a x between ad and ? just like below:
Copy this URL and keep it. You will need it for the next step.
Step 2. Create your placement
Visit the AdBack back office in the Monetization Placement section.
- Add a new placement.
- Give it the exact same name as the one defined in the data-iab-tag when they were added to your pages (ask your technical team if needed)
- Then, activate the DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) banner part and fill the Name and simplified URLwith the one you created in step 1.
- Save the changes.
